Mancelona Camp 2021 COVID-19 Response
Things to Note for 2021:
What should you do looking forward to camp:
Your Mancelona Camp Board
Please continue to support the camp financially during this time. The camp has ongoing expenses throughout the year (electric, phone, internet, upkeep costs, etc.) that will still need to be paid. We depend on the support of our churches and people to keep camp operating. Also, please think of Mancelona Camp in the years to come. Checks can be mailed to the Regional Office or you may give via Paypal.
- Children will not have a program during the evening service. They will be in the main service for the whole time.
- We encourage you to bring lawn chairs and sit outside if you feel more comfortable during the evening service instead of in the main tabernacle.
- The goody shack will be running. It will have fewer choices than in previous years. Also, if you have coins to pay exact amounts for items, that will help tremendously. We are having a difficult time finding change for the cash register. Much of the candy will be 10 and 25 cents.
- The youth camp will be separate from the family camp the majority of the time. Please do not go down to the youth area at all during the week. See the youth page for more information about COVID plans for youth camp.
What should you do looking forward to camp:
- Pray!
- If you are planning to attend camp, text Judy Sayre at (231)886-0000 to reserve your lot. Include your name and lot number (if you know it!).
- Register your youth for youth camp. Please register your youth campers and pay the deposit.
- Register your children for camp.
- Watch for procedures and plans for camp so we can keep all those attending safe.
